It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, not to mention the number of outfits I’ve worn since my last fashion post. So here goes, another roundup of my weekly outfits. These posts highlight what I wore this past week, what styles I’m loving at the moment, and links to find similar looks for fractions of designer store prices. I define my style as comfortable with a side of color. This post doesn’t necessary depict this past weeks outfits, more so, this past months favorite looks. One thing I’m noticing in this roundup is that I clearly have a love for canvas vests.
I’m learning to really embrace accessories. I’ve found that the right accessory can really add interest to any outfit. Take this next outfit. Without the necklace, this outfit is safe and something so easy for me to put together. I challenged myself and added a somewhat bold statement piece. It’s my need for creativity showing through.
This next dress is from Old Navy and although no longer in stock, these dresses come in stores every fall season. So remember to grab one next time you are in Old Navy. I pair it with tights for winter and booties for spring. Oh and these peep-toe booties. So worth the price. I seriously love Old Navy’s shoes not only for their ability to be so on trend but for their prices!
Loft is one of my favorite stores and for good reasons. Like this shirt I recently found. It’s a thick cotton material that does not wrinkle and the slight bell sleeves make for the perfect feminine touch. Oh and this necklace, another statement piece to take a cute outfit just a little bit further.
I bought these earrings for myself this past Christmas. Two Christmas’ ago, I bought them for my SIL and ever since then, I haven’t been able to get them out of my mind. I love the turquoise/green color and pairing them with pink pants. This is spring people!
Another Loft find winner. This shirt is a thin t-shirt material but I love the eyelet bell sleeves. I can easily dress this shirt up or down for spring and summer. This shirt does wrinkle but my trick is to wash it, put it in the dryer for only a few minutes to take out the wrinkles and then hang to dry the rest of the way.
Happy Friday! Have a wonderful weekend friends!
