Christmas is coming! You may not want to believe it but for some reason, this year, I’m so ready for it. We haven’t started listening to Christmas music or putting up decorations but I will say Santa is almost done with all the Christmas shopping this year! Mainly because we are keeping it small this year. More on that soon.
However, one thing I feel like I’m behind on this year is our Christmas photo. It takes so much coordination from outfits to photographer to get a family photo and then on top of that, having to make Christmas cards to send out. I don’t know if we will make the cutoff for Christmas cards but my goal this year is a family photo on Christmas day…in our Christmas best. Which leads me to this post. I spend a fair amount of time online shopping (#toddlerproblems) and have noticed Old Navy’s amazing sales lately. I love shopping at Old Navy for my kids. I would say about 60% of their wardrobe is from Old Navy. I tend to buy a lot of their dresses. You can’t really beat the price.
So in true holiday spirit, I’m sharing some family Christmas outfit ideas, worthy of Sunday best or for your Christmas card photos.
So let’s just dive in. My usual approach is to pick my outfit and then coordinate other outfits around me. Selfish? probably. But mainly because I’m the only one that cares what we wear so just makes sense to start where your inspiration strikes. However, I stumbled upon this dress for Payten the other day during Old Navy’s 40% off sale and I just had to get it and make it her Christmas dress. So that’s where I began for pulling together outfit ideas for this Christmas photo. This is also a great dress to start with as it has such an awesome pattern with more than two colors. You can play off those colors to piece the other outfits together.
Right now Old Navy is offering an extra 10% off everything with the code ENJOY and free shipping on orders over $25 with code FREESHIP. But to be honest, I am pretty confident another 30% or 40% off will come up in the next week or so, so if I were you, I’d go to their website and sign up for email offers to stay on top of it.
