Liam is officially one month old! It’s crazy how fast that went. Here’s a recap on his measurements. He was born weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Today we had his one month checkup and he is growing like a champ. He now weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces, just shy of a whole 2 pounds since birth weight. And he got taller. He is now 22 and 1/4th inches long, which is the 75th percentile. I’m not sure where he is getting his height. I think it’s God answering my prayers when I was in highschool playing volleyball and praying He’d give me a few more inches. This wasn’t exactly what I had in mind but I’d rather have my son have those inches than me :).
I also decided to copy YHL’s idea and take monthly photos of Liam so I can capture how fast this boy is growing. Here is the week 1 photo and week 4 photo. After all 12 months, I am wanting to make a quilt for him with all these fabric remnants. There I go making future sewing promises (I still don’t have his curtains for his room sewn and I’ve cut the fabric and threaded the machine back in November…eek!).
Wow he looks so much bigger. This is also a good project for my mom to keep tabs on how fast he is growing. This one’s for you mom.
