Everyone who knows me would probably say that I have an (unhealthy) obsession with Harry Potter. With the final HP installation happening this Friday, I felt that an HP post is most necessary. I’m not going to lie but I will be sad once this movie comes out because that is the end of the HP journey. As the first book came out in 1997, I have been entertained and mesmerized by this series for 14 years. JK Rowling is a true literary genious!
JK Rowling has written some additonal, supplemental books, mainly for charity purposes, but also for HP fanantics. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which was a Hogwarts textbook; Quidditch Through the Ages, which was one of Harry’s favorite books; and A Tale of Beedle and the Bard, a collection of wizarding fairy tales that play an intricate role in Harry’s defeating
Voldemort He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. I am slacking a litte because the only supplemental HP book that I have read is A Tale of Beedle and the Bard and honestly I’m kinda holding off because I don’t want my HP journey to end. Rowling also has an upcoming online project titled Pottermore that is launching at the end of this month for all those fans like me who are sad this journey is ending.
So, to continue the celebration of HP 7 part 2 movie debut this friday, I found these simple steps
in creating the perfect HP party. Boy I can’t wait to have kids and throw them an awesome HP party. If our house wasn’t currently under bathroom demolition, I would consider hosting an HP party for all my fanatic friends.
